Voxbit
Privacy Policy
Voxbit is offered by Hagl Co. LLC. This draft policy is designed to be close to usable and should be reviewed and customized before public launch.
Information we collect
We may collect account information such as your email address, basic authentication records, subscription status, and limited product telemetry needed to operate Voxbit. We may also collect operational metadata such as app version, approximate usage volume, compression mode selected, and error logs when necessary to maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and support billing.
How Voxbit stores data locally
Voxbit is designed so recordings, transcripts, and cleaned markdown outputs are stored locally on your Mac by default. In the current product direction, raw audio, transcript text, and cleaned outputs are intended to remain on-device unless you explicitly move or share them yourself.
Hosted processing and service providers
Voxbit may use hosted service providers to support account access, subscription management, infrastructure, and app functionality. These providers may include services for authentication, billing, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, transcription, or AI processing. We limit the hosted data we keep to what is reasonably necessary to run the service and improve reliability.
Data retention
We retain account, billing, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Because local Voxbit content is intended to stay on your device, you remain responsible for managing or deleting local recordings, transcripts, and markdown files stored on your Mac.
Policy updates
Changes to this privacy policy may happen from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational needs. When we make material changes, we may revise the effective date, post the updated policy here, and take additional steps if required by law.
